This weeks been busy busy!!

We had a caddy come in needing some work on the cooling system. New water pump, thermostat, temp sensor fresh coolant, wrapped it up with new state inspection.

In the other bay we took care of Chevy s10 that came in for routine maintenance and inspection. Ended up needing some rear brake work and a new driver window motor assembly.

Lastly we had a big ole dodge Cummins in with some lights on the dash. Replaced front wheel bearing to take care of the abs lights, and finished it off with new master cylinder and rear brake caliper to get the brakes performing like they should.

Little update on Subaru project.

Check out the pics, we got cylinder heads removed and also shown is the tensioner pulley that blew apart, causing timing to slip/jump.

Simple tensioner pulley for the timing belt cause all this damage!!

Nice day out 😎 to swap rears in this customers Trailblazer.

We towed it in, customer thought for sure the transmission went bad. After alittle digging into it we found the rear end blew!!

Should have them wrapped up this afternoon and back on the road!

Wrapping up the end of the week with few more

Buick century was brought to us with antifreeze running out of it.
Pressure tested the system and found out the front timing cover was the culprit. New gaskets and cleaned it up, topped off with fluid and quick oil change, got it back on the road.

Chevy truck, customer was complaining it was overheating, did some checking and found the clutch on the fan not working. Replaced the clutch, no more overheating‼️🛠️🔧

Few more that we tackled!

Volvo had a loud screech noise, sounded like turbo was failing, but hear it was the exhaust manifold gasket leaking. Manifold was warped pretty good. We opted to have it machined flat instead of replacing, Slapped it back together and installed customer tires and fresh inspection.

GMC canyon came in for inspection, found right rear axle seal leaking on to the brakes, we replaced axle seal and put on new set of brake shoes, got them back on the road.

Chevy truck had an engine light for thermostat rationality. We tossed new thermostat in and away it went.

We knocked out a couple more jobs this week. A Ram was brought in for front brake service and routine maintenance, which included an inspection. A Volkswagen van underwent a transmission filter and fluid change, and we also repaired a broken air bag wiring under the driver's seat to resolve the dashboard warning light.
