We are starting the season with a bang! The month of May will feature three big time races at Ona Speedway!

The season will get underway on Saturday, May 3rd for Putnam County Bank Opening Night and will be headlined by the 40 lap, $1,000 to win Putnam County Bank Throwback Classic for the LG Pressure Washing LLC Modifieds!

Then the following weekend we will host the Vores Compact Touring Series powered by Mercer County Electric for their highest paying race of the year and the biggest compact race in Ona Speedway history, the 5th Annual Bryce Keyser Fly By 40 Supersized presented by Freedom Used Autos! The Vores Compact Series will go 80 grueling laps around Ona Speedway in the longest race of the season at Ona.

Then the month of May will conclude on Saturday, May 24th with the Memorial Day All Star Bash featuring a special, unique format for each class that is sure to put on one amazing show!

Mark your calendars, Ona Speedway is where you want to be at this May!

Some may think I’m a religious fanatic. I’m just a simple man battling with satin everyday. Sometimes GOD shows me that I’m winning the battle. The cross on my keychain was given to me by a special lady at Anderson and the cross around my neck was given to me by a special gentleman at Wi******er this past weekend. I may not have left those race tracks with the first place trophies or wait maybe I did. I left those tracks with more faith than when I arrived so thank you all for showing me that I’m winning the battle !!!

Freedom used autos is in need of a Honda technician you would need to know how to do a timing belt water pump on a 2015 Honda pilot you would need to know how to adjust valves on a B 20 you would need to know how to change a cam phaser on a Kseries engine. I’m not in need of a mechanic. I’m in need of an Honda technician who can test drive a car diagnose the car test your theory and repair The car rate of pay will be reflected by ability and experience.

The action this season in the Gumbo Stop Cafe Crazy Compacts has been off the charts! Don't miss another night of the bumper pounding action of the Crazy Compacts as Stacie Watson looks to extend her points lead and all the other drivers look to close in on Watson who has won all but one race this season.

Milton, WV's Wes Smith joined the list of first time winners this season with a big win in the Patriot Meat Processing LLC Modifieds on August 5th. The Modified division has had three different winners this season and is coming off a race with it's highest car count of the season.
