This weekend was one to remember. Coming off of a problem filled test session a couple weeks ago. A bunch of diagnosing and fixes to get to the track. No time left to get in a quick test session before traveling. We unloaded and had issues in the only test session of the race weekend. Only getting in 4 laps. That was our only session friday. We were first out on saturday morning for qualifying. Immediately had a different set of issues on the first lap. I was defeated, broken, had a disappointed driver that wanted out of the car for the weekend. I dont know what it was but something edged me on let me know it will be ok. Maybe it was my wife's voice in the back of my head saying, you got this like she always says. I put my head down got to work with evan and tore into it. Not 100 percent confident but positive i did what i knew i could. We went out and won saturdays race by 22 seconds. There was still work to be done. Sunday was a longer race and worried about fuel mileage we took the lead and maintained a 16 second gap. Overall amazing experience to get both wins at a supertour race.

This photo was taken maybe 5 years ago. On that day i only hoped to do what we did this weekend. We had our ups and downs of our own fault and due to some others. But we came pretty close to dominating. I couldnt have done it without evan. He has come so far not only has a young man but as a hard working quick thinking crew member. All of the guys that trust me to trust him, work on your cars i am forever indebted to you. I truly love working with all of you. Lets get some rest and tear them up again next year.

We had a great weekend at the SCCA super tour race at Watkins Glen. Set the fastest time in T1 in practice which would of been a track record if in qualifying or race. Finished 2nd in both races. Special thanks to Cohesion Motorsports, Precision Motorsports, VAC Motorsports, Chillout Systems

Its pretty amazing how far we have come. KJF Motorsports was always a dream.
