Having taken the time to reflect on my thoughts, I have been considering how others might perceive me after sharing my innermost thoughts with them, including the self-doubting notion that I am a failure, which might be reinforced by those who have never supported me and would relish in my downfall. However, I am confident that I am making the best decision for myself, even if it may not resonate with others, as they are not privy to my unique experiences and perspectives. With that said, I am embarking on a new journey of self-discovery and professional growth. My family and I relocated to Waterloo, Iowa, 12 to 13 years ago from Monrovia, Liberia, where I spent my formative years creating lasting memories. As I prepare to bid farewell to the remarkable individuals I have met, I am filled with excitement to explore a new city, immerse myself in diverse cultures, and form new connections. Waterloo will forever hold a special place in my heart, as I have forged profound bonds with loved ones here. I am grateful for the unwavering support my family and I have received over the years. Waterloo will always be my second home, and I look forward to returning to visit. As I embark on a new journey, closing another chapter in my life due to unforeseen circumstances, I am filled with gratitude for the support I have received for Ed's Auto Sales over the past two years. Your encouragement has been a source of inspiration, and I am thankful for the opportunity to have shared this journey with each and every one of you. Through life's twists and turns, you have been my guiding light, and I cherish the memories of serving customers who became lifelong friends, referring their friends and family to purchase from me - a testament to the transformative power of relationships. As I ponder my journey, I ask myself, what changes can I make to become a better version of myself for the future, as this is what my heart truly longs to do in this life? If you know me, you know I always find inspiration in Rumi's words, "let the beauty of what you love be the beauty of what you do." What is the point of life if you do not love what you do? I chose to pursue my passion for cars, inspired by individuals like yourself. Through the ups and downs, I have grown as a person and learned to trust in a higher power. This is not farewell, but rather, see you later, my friend. I am embarking on a new journey, and I am filled with joy as I close this chapter. Thank you for your love and support. Your friend, Ed 👞
