We are in need of coats and warm wear, ALL SIZES, new or gently worn for distribution to those in need throughout the city.
Check your closets to give the gift of warmth this season or donate toward the purchases of new coats.

~Also collecting TOILETRIES & ESSENTIAL ITEMS

Over 100 youth from DC are working on something magically empowering. They deserve a huge audience for this one. Check out these flyers from our youth Social Media & Marketing team and a bit of footage collected.
Youth voice shows up throughout the play, starting with its original title “When the Cotton Blooms Red: The museum of the Uninvited” collectively titled by the youth.
In this show, youth will showcase skills acquired in acting, choreography, modeling, T-shirt design and branding, music, art, social media and marketing and more.
We’re excited to bring this 6 week masterpiece to the stage of the Howard theater.
They are excited❣️

Friday’s coat distribution.
It was cold, it was rainy but we gathered to give together despite of.
We met some great grateful people along the way and even a past recipient to collect another coat for this winter season.
It was slow, it was cold, it rained consistently but we were successful in giving even only to these two.
In addition to coats, we are accepting hats, scarves, gloves and toiletries.

LSC begins to host its 3rd Annual Coat Drive Series.
We’ve had success over the years and we are grateful to our contributors and participants.
Bring your unwanted warm wear out and stop by a giveaway to catch a vibe and celebrate a day(s) of giving with us❣️

🧤 Sign up for coat collection using QR code (to reserve a coat on pick up day- reservations are not held)
