Community Car Care opened in 1995 and continues to service the automotive needs of the Hudson Valley with pride and integrity to this day. As a young boy he watched many family friends work on their cars. He learned the value of routine maintenance and proper upkeep. He was blessed to have 2 neighbors, one who worked as a dealership mechanic and one whose father owned a gas station. These mechanic
s were more than happy to share their knowledge with Michael. They showed him how to do most everything there was to do on a car. They explained what each part was and how it worked as they repaired cars. It was during this time that Michael learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. Michael used this knowledge to repair and maintain his parents cars and eventually his own and his brothers. He opened up his own business in 1994. This was a mobile auto repair business in which he went house to house repairing cars. He performed everything from oil changes to engine overhauls. In 2001 he closed his mobile business to go to work for Community Car Care. Again he was blessed to have the owner Dave Im, take him under his wing. Working side by side with Dave, Michael was able to continue to increase his abilities by absorbing Dave's vast knowledge and experience. As Dave was gearing down to retire, Michael took on more responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Community Car Care which he eventually purchased in 2009. Even today as cars become more computerized and complex in the age of Hybrids And Electric Automobiles. Michael continues his education through seminars, webinars and tech training classes. Through the people Michael has been blessed to have touched his life, the most important thing he has learned was to treat people with honesty and integrity.
