That saying, "hate to watch her go, but LOVE to watch her leave," suits this car perfectly, she is going HOME today!!
Our customer (who is amazing) wanted everything 100% back to original. Some things were way easier than others, and some things were just complete headaches. But, we managed to get her as close to stock, as we could.
There are a few things we will finish up for her this spring, she wanted to keep the stock steering wheel, and there's only 1 person in the country that has the mold to fix it the right way. So, it's being sent to California this week. A few chrome pieces for the rear of the vehicle are finishing up at a chrome refinisher we found in Springfield, OH.
The metal work, we put in all new floors, trunk pan, quarters, inner/outer wheelhouse, bottom of fenders and doors, the hood, and of course, we did all the body work.
The seats and convertible top were done at Kiamy's, in Piqua. He did amazing work.
Paint job, of course was done by us, and looks great in person.
