Clarity Coat
Warning in regards of Clarity Coat
I would like to warned all my FB friends to don’t deal with Clarity Coat. I encourage my FB friends to share my experience to your friends.
I have 991 GT2rs that was spray on the whole car for exterior protection. The car was done in Eugene Oregon by N- Touch Detailing. After the car was done , I had to return it multiple times for the over spray and white spots on the car. The condition of the car got worse thru the days past. The car was never fix right . I’m getting negative feedback from our PCA Members during drives and car meet. They are seeing all the imperfections of the work. I have the same feedback from my dealer.
I started contacting Justin Pollington from Clarity Coat and told him the issues. He ask me if my dealer knows of a Bodyshop that they use . My dealer recommended Color Wheels that they use on all their cars send out to Porsche competition. (Concourse)
My car was brought then to Color Wheels and the owner pointed out all the imperfections. So Justin send materials to re do the car. The owner of Color Wheels run multiple test before applying to my car . All test failed. Never heard back from Clarity Coat.
Jason owner of Color Wheels suggested me not to apply this material to my car anymore. He also suggested to peel off everything because of the bad workmanship due to material from clarity coat. Jason had taken 100 defective pictures.
I decided to get it peeled then the nightmare begins, rear bumper had to be resprayed due material can’t be remove fully. It cost me $7600 to peeled the material, paint correction , rear bumper re sprayed and cleaning and replacement of roof rubber due overspray.
I didn’t even add the parts that needs to be replaced.
I emailed Clarity Coat and the Installer N touch to split the bill 3ways.I told them I just want to put this issue in bed since my wife is battling with Stage 4 cancer. N touch acknowledged their mistake and paid their share of $2500.
Unfortunately Clarity Coat did not or offer to settle. I also have PCA-Cascade Region members that have issue on their cars because of this material.
I have given Clarity Coat to settle but they never did. I will be posting this to other cars forum.

Unfortunately because of everything you mentioned I have stopped using clarity coat awhile ago now I have since removed 2 whole vehicles that I’ve done with no reimbursement or support from Justin as well it’s extremely frustrating. “ ( Statement from N- Touch owner).
Do Not use Clarity Coat on your car. It will ruin your car and pay more on taking it off. My recommendation is to use Xpel .
