IDEA Motor Cars Company Overview

It started with an IDEA to offer a kit car like no other. Not a replica – we know your type. You love cars like we do but you’re too much of an individual to drive a car that has thousands of clones out there. You were the kid who excitedly opened up the box of that model of a Mustang, a Camaro, or a Porsche and immediately envisioned something different than the

beautifully completed example on the box. Unfortunately there was little you could do to make it look much different, other than some paint and decals. That’s where we come in, but we don’t make model cars and we don’t make replicas. We make the IDEA of building your own real car - the way you want it. Most kit car companies offer you what you need to build a car, but it’s pretty much like that model you bought as a kid. You ended up with what the manufacturer intended – not you. Just about any other kit car available includes the chassis and the body so you really don’t have many options to build something that looks truly unique – your own vision – your own IDEA. And if you’re of tall stature you can immediately eliminate many of the kit cars on the market as you simply won’t fit in them. Our cars our made to fit just about anyone who wants to pay the affordable price of admission to a very cool thrill ride. Our vision is to provide enthusiast builders with a high quality frame assembly constructed of 1 ¾” DOM (Drawn Over Mandrel) steel tubing, combined with a variety of readily available suspension components. Then just add your choice of power train from a list of compatible choices to build your car, your way. Rear wheel drive, front wheel drive, all wheel drive, independent rear, four link – whatever you need to build your roadster, hot rod, desert runner, drag racer, road racer, or – well you get the idea. We give you a solid foundation so you can build whatever you want as your next grown up toy. Our components are made to the highest standards and will offer you a light weight yet durable platform to build a very fast and nimble road ripper. Our kits give you what you need to easily and affordably build your car, your way. After all it’s your build, your budget, your vision – your IDEA. Now the real fun begins.
