This GMC Sierra HD came to us with severe chemical burning in the clear coat that left the paint looking cloudy, dull, and tired.

This wasn’t something a quick polish was going to fix.

After carefully inspecting the paint, we performed a full 3-step paint correction to safely cut through the damage, refine the finish, and restore the clarity and depth this truck deserved. Once the paint was fully prepped, we locked it all in with a premium ceramic coating for long-term gloss, protection, and easier maintenance.

This Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ came in for the full protection treatment. 🔥

We completed our Tier 3 Ceramic Coating Package, a full interior detail, and our interior ceramic coating package to protect this truck inside and out.

The exterior is now protected with a 5+ year certified ceramic coating, adding deep gloss, long-term durability, easier washing, and serious protection against Michigan’s harsh elements.

Inside, the leather, carpets, and high-touch surfaces were cleaned, prepped, and protected with interior ceramic protection to help resist staining, spills, dirt, and everyday wear.

Paint correction is more than just “buffing a car.”

When a machine polisher touches your paint, there is a lot happening: heat, friction, pad choice, polish choice, pressure, machine speed, paint thickness, panel edges, body lines, and how the paint itself is reacting.

Done correctly, paint correction can dramatically improve gloss, clarity, and overall appearance.

Done carelessly, it can create problems like hazing, holograms, burned edges, uneven correction, excessive clear coat removal, or damage that cannot simply be “polished out.”

That is why due diligence matters when choosing who works on your vehicle.

At S&S Auto Detailing, we do not treat paint correction like a quick add-on. We inspect the paint, choose the proper process, use professional equipment and products, and focus on safely improving the finish while preserving as much clear coat as possible.
