We get back to work on the Lake View Stock v8. Had to make a parts list because we found some HUGE ISSUES with some bent/broken parts after last race.

Unfortunately we have no where to go race due to weather so we’re taking the weekend off and going to enjoy the Holiday Weekend. Don’t forget what Memorial Day is all about, say a prayer for all the families that lost a loved one defending the BEST country there is.

We took the Thunder Bomber down to Sumter Speedway this weekend and found a few issues in Qualifying. Got it fixed for the feature and we were able to get from 11th to 3rd. Had a good time and enjoyed the trip.

Had an electric issue with the distributor power wire in qualifying, brought it in and got it fixed for the feature. Time to go keep the nose clean and see where we can go.

With some last minute issues with a gear we will now be heading to Sumter Speedway with the Thunder Bomber tomorrow night! Swing by the Ramp Truck and see us!

Here’s the video from last weekend a Lake View Motor Speedway in the Stock v8.

We put the ole girl on the pole in HLQ, rolled a 3 which put us starting 3rd in the feature. With some challenging track conditions we were able to finish 3rd. Happy with the pay off of the work I did on the car last week!

In the video we discuss going to Friendship for the Monster Thunder Bomber Series race. Unfortunately the gear I was told to be a 5:83 ended up being a 5:43. With that we are going to change it up and carry the Thunder Bomber to Sumter Speedway tomorrow night and put our first night of racing on the car.

We almost bit off more then we could chew on the Lake View Motor Speedway Stock v8. With the help Tay and Mr. Jackie at Russ Repair we were able to get the car back together in time to race. As everyone knows chasing tenths and even thousandths on a racecar always seems easy, however the work that it takes are usually the most complex and difficult tasks of any of them. These improvements most definitely helped the car.

Well the hard work definitely pays off with the Lake View Motor Speedway Stock v8. Driver put the car where it needed to be in HLQ and set it on the pole. Threw the dice and rolled a 3 which put us rolling off on the inside second row. With some serious character and a one lane track we took what the track offered and managed to finish 3rd after falling to 5th on the initial start. We had a long night but thankful to have a track right here by the house to race at. Look forward to being back in two weeks for another weekend of racing.
