With Sumter Speedway cancelling as we were pulling out the driveway, we decided take a trip to Cherokee Speedway to do some scouting. We knew we’d be on the wrong gear but was still a trip worth making. Met some fans and also made some notes in the notebook to reflect on this week before we head back this Sunday for the Mike Duvall Memorial race. Be sure to come check it out and watch some good racing.

The Checkered Brunette makes her first laps behind the wheel of a Crown Vic. I’m super proud of Tay and her performance. Huge Thank you to my Pops for letting her drive the car, I foresee some Crown Vic content coming in the near future for sure. We did find some issues with the car that need to be addressed before we turn her loose 100%, we will be getting it ready here in the next couple weeks.

We had a pretty wild night at Sumter Speedway this weekend. Bonnie showed out in the Monster Thunder Bomber race, unfortunately after taking the lead on a restart we got drove through and ended up with a flat LR tire. Rocky got the tire changed and cooled my head with a pep talk. Restarted 18th and drove back up to 4th, unfortunately race was cut short due to time limit and we lost 6 laps of the feature. Still a very solid run to be the second race in the car with the baddest TB’s around.

We also had the Stock v8 on tap at Sumter and we put a show on. Ole Buck finally got it done and the hard work and dedication payed off. First of many wins to come to finish the year off.
