We won’t be at PennsCreek Raceway Park today. Matt & Dakota are taking a weekend off to go hang out at Port Royal for the Lucas Oil Late Model Rumble by the River! Hoping they take some pictures & videos! We will be back in action 9/5! 🧡🏁🖤

First off, Matt is ok. But here are pictures of the damage from his 7 “donuts” in the feature, courtesy of self driver error & the wall out of turn 2. Lots of busted up body, cracked right rear hub, bent & broken studs, cracked seat(which let his helmet hit the back of the kart & break his back number plate). Lots of body work to do, the kart was hooking up good, just went a little too low, hit a bump & drifted up to the wall.

Lost tire: thought he could finish after the wreck however he lost a tire in the middle of 3-4. You can just see it roll away.

Well got the first 1 1/2 laps..then the wreck. I zoomed in & counted 7 “donuts”. It was driver error, Matt went to the bottom, hit some bumps, slid up & met the wall. Matt is ok. Didn’t finish the feature tho. Since I didn’t finish filming the end results were 1. Tressler 2. Hank DNF Matt.

Matt’s kart was fast in the heat with just a bit of wheelhop. A black flag warning due to an unavoidable collision sent him to the back of the pack.
