This is why we don’t rush and just hang parts to make a quick buck. This customer came in with a 2018 Chevy Malibu. We found the problem to be a vacuum pump. Our lead tech, Andrew, pulled the old one and inspected it. He noticed it had shelled. Upon further inspection he found the fragments. His attention to detail may have saved this car an engine. Good job, Andrew!

The engine on the left is good, it just needs timing components. I have the LKQ receipt for it. The one on the right might be rebuildable. Must pick up from Ernie’s Garage, in Tulsa.
