Just finished painting bed for the international today.
Before any comments I would like to add that customer is installing new wood floors over the original bed floor. ☺️

This is a very common repair on the early mustangs.
The cowl panel under the cowl you see rusts out around the hats and then it rusts out floor boards.
This is the first step. Removal and repairs on upper cowl then removal of the under cowl panel and in this case we had fabricated repair panels at the top of both a Pilar’s and I prefer to paint under neither as well as seal the hats to protect against future rust out before welding back together and we Also used weld through primer.
This is the original color for this 1966 mustang.

Preparation for primer stages and then applied 2-K primer then yesterday we removed the bed and began metal work and straightening front bed panel.
