Welcome Kevin McClure to the Nichols Marine Team!
We’re excited to officially welcome Kevin McClure to the Nichols Marine family.

Kevin’s roots on Grand Lake run deep. His family moved to the area in 1977, and he grew up around the water, attending Cleora and later graduating from Ketchum High School in 1987 before continuing his education at NEO in Miami.

Kevin’s boating career started early. At just 11 years old, he was fueling boats and mowing lawns at Slim’s Resort. From there, he continued working around the marina business through high school at Hammerhead Marina, where he also began helping sell and deliver boats.

After spending time with Denny Cresap and the Budweiser team in Vinita, including driving the Budweiser boat on summer weekends and delivering to marinas during the week, Kevin realized the boat business was where his heart belonged. In 1995, he returned to the industry full-time, selling Regal Boats at Shangri-La Marina.

Over the years, Kevin has built a strong reputation in the Grand Lake boating community, spending the last 20 years with Hi-Lift Marina and Grand Lake Boat Sales, where he eventually became a partner in the business.

Kevin and Gary Nichols have known each other for years through their work with the Oklahoma Boat Dealers Association, and we’re proud that the opportunity came together for Kevin to join our team this spring.

If you’re planning to visit our Grand Lake sales & service location, please be aware:

🚧 The highway directly in front of our building is currently under major construction
➡️ Traffic is reduced to one lane
➡️ Our main entrance is now gravel
➡️ Approximately half of our parking lot is unavailable

BUT—we are still open and ready to help you.

To better serve you during construction, our Sales Office has been temporarily relocated to Shangri-La Marina.

📍 Service is still operating—just allow a little extra time when arriving
