I am so deeply saddened to say that a lovely soul left the Earth recently. Marta was an amazing director for so many years in the Miss Arizona Organization, and she left a lasting impression on so many of us.

Marta, thank you for all that you did for me during these past three years as one of your titleholders. Having you as a director was one of the main reasons that I’m still competing in the Miss Arizona Competition today. You were always there to lift me up and brighten my day, and you helped me navigate the new world of being a local titleholder. Thank you for your devotion and kindness. We all love and miss you. 💗

Wow! 🌹 ❤️ time flies when you are having a blast! This year has been so incredibly good to me. My last wish is that if you are reading this post.... continue to volunteer your time to those who have sacrificed so much in order to serve this country 🇺🇸 . They deserve our unceasing support and encouragement. I will forever treasure my first experience with the Miss America Organization. Congratulations to our new MISS ARIZONA 2019 Jacqueline Thomas () and MISS ARIZONA OUTSTANDING TEEN Katelyn Cai () ! I remember having distinct moments with both of you back stage and practicing our sponsor Scott’s () mindfulness of being present in the moment and encouraging each that “you deserve to be here and you deserve to win”. You both are going to rock the national stage and represent Arizona so well. You both are so genuine and dedicated and I have no doubt you will make this state proud in your endeavors. WHAT A DREAM!!! My first MISS ARIZONA and I can say I took home a preliminary award AND PLACED TOP 10!!! What an honor to make history for the city of TUCSON. If I had to wrap up this week in ONE word ... GRATEFUL.... I was so at peace throughout the process because of the grace of God!!

thank you to all the new relationships I have built. It was a pleasure getting to know all of these kind hearted individuals. My first year has been made so special! Thank you Marta Vizcarra ! You are an amazing director that helped me through this process and I am so appreciative of your sacrifices. THANK YOU to Stacey , Kathy, Amber , Aisha (TEAM BLING FOR LIFE) , Zack (lit driver), to all of our helpful moms, to the backstage crew, to anyone who lended a hand.. you are SO LOVED AND THANK YOU. To my roomate Stephanie ... wow! You are so kind and I could not have had a better roomate to tuck in and play tunes with lol.

To my family and friends who have supported me all year... The love I have for you all is too much for me to begin to express. This is not over but simply a SEE YOU LATER ♥️🌹 For now I will continue to serve veterans by volunteering my time and serving the community... volunteer.va.gov !!!!
