The ole Poncho Ventura II is moving closer to a road test, before we take it even further apart! Why not just do it all at once? Well, even though it means bleeding the brakes more than once, and I truly dislike bleeding brakes, I don't like mechanical surprises even more, so will test out the work so far and then start on getting the rest of it in order. Besides, a little enjoyment and inspiration is warranted from time-to-time.

Ventura update. Chipping away at it! Honestly with any build, we fret over the big ticket items but its the myriad of small things that can stall your car... project (see what I did there?). Anyway I wasted a week and a half waiting on e-brake cables that were 3-4 additional weeks away. They never tell you about this stuff on the reality TV shows. The solution was right in front of me the entire time. Move the brackets... doh! Who knew. I didn't until I did.

Poncho Ventura II getting closer... still waiting on the e-brake cables before we can bleed the brakes... old motor needs some love... well needs a new motor really and we will get there. Next up is the sub-frame connectors and new solid bushings along with throwing the Muncie M21 in her. Car looks like trash but is hiding some good bits in the basement.

Its been a while. Surgery recovery period in the books, means its car time again! Here I present the V in NOVA! This ole pig is getting some lipstick. Underneath. Not in plain sight. Its a bit like bleaching a bu****le. I MEAN, unless you are a p**n star, who's gonna see it?!

By the way, did you know NOVA is both an acronym and a model? Its true! N is for Nova, O is for Omega, V is for this swine and A? No one cares about the A in Nova but if you do, you should probably seek therapy for your Buick Apollo fe**sh. As should I for my extreme car pecadillo.
