If you, or someone you know that has a small business, I bet they can tell you the plethora of different events that they have helped out. From local schools to big charities. We are asked all the time if we can give something for 'insert cause'. We love helping! However, there are times that we say no.
Each and every business has the right to help with what they want. If they don't believe in the cause, they can say no. That doesn't mean that it's ok for the public to drag them through the mud. Chances are, they are probably tapped out of what they can give. Most of us budget for events and sponsorship.
We have given to so much in the last six years that it would probably make most people sick. However, we do it because we want to help within our community. Sometimes, for whatever reason, it just isn't in the cards. We have been bashed in the past. We also know that to some, whatever the reason may be, doesn't matter. They have to live with that.
This post is not intended to cause arguments. This is a simple support post for a great local business. (That does a lot more than people think)
