Finally got the sand to level off the area before concrete is poured but the dump truck drivers listened very well.
Driver 1 "I'm here to deliver sand"
My answer "y'all supposed to had called when leaving the yard not when you get to my yard. Didn't know y'all were coming today. I could have moved some things around".
Driver 1 "Where you want it. 4 vehicles in the way".
Me "beside the trailer in the grass"
Driver 1 "Ok"

A few moments later.......
Driver 2 "Hi im here to deliver a load of sand".
Me "Ok, put it beside the black trailer in the grass. Do NOT do what the last driver did".
Driver 2 "Ok".
Get done with my day and what do I see, zero sand in the grass, plenty where the building is going".
Me "Hey cement guy, here is a pic of the sand delivered. They listened very well. They put it where you said not to put it"
Cement guy 🤬🤬🤬🤬
Me "Yup thats what I said. See you in a few days".

Customer complaint:
Bought car from used dealer. ABS and traction control light on.

Advised it could be obe or both
Wheel speed sensor or hub bearing.

Customer took back to the dealer due to owning it for 2 weeks.
Dealer declined repairs.

Customer brought it back to try one of 2 options given.
R&R wheel speed sensor.
Now speed sensor is communicating but needs hub bearing due to randomly throwing speed numbers and not consistent with other 3 wheels.
Customer declined and gonna have a chat with dealership again.

Correct water pump installed as well as thermostat, radiator, serpentine belt, and filled cooling system with antifreeze.

Next project:
Front brake pads, rear axle seal and differential fluid.

Correct part #, wrong part in box.

Ordered a bunch of parts for different vehicles and get started on one to find out i cannot finish it due to someone put the wrong part in the box.

Now, a lot of folks return parts and it is policy for the auto parts store to open the box and confirm the customer or shop has put the right part in the box before offering a refund.

Yes I should have confirmed as well but never had this issue from this location.

I limit how many vehicles are worked on daily for situations like this. It happens. No big deal. No one but god is perfect.
We are all humans and make mistakes.
It’s upsetting as I have to explain to the customer why they won't have their vehicle on time but again, we are all human.
The good thing is this customer told me no rush on it. It’s been parked for a week and I finally got a chance to get to it but couldn’t finish it.
I updated the customer on what is going on.

The part in the box belongs to a BMW not a Toyota.

This is another reason why I do not buy parts online. The difference is locally I can return it. Buying online, 90% of the time you have to ship it back before they send you another one.
