Overland Adventure Systems has stepped into the Vehicle based adventure market at a time that could not be better. have we seen so much support for people that love to use their 4x4 to get outdoors. However we live in a polarizing time with modern vehicles. Ever increasing government regulations and consumer desires are making it harder for manufacturers to develop affordable rugged vehicles. As s
uch legendary vehicles like the land cruiser start at $80,000 and an affordable light duty station wagon called the Forrester has become the SUV of the year. Now based on that we have come to realize that the folks into vehicle adventures are just as polarizing. Some of us use a forrester to explore parks and mild trails for camping, photography, rally and other activities. Still others are using a fullsize F250 with a drop in camper to achieve similar adventures. It does not matter if you are running a light duty vehicle, a heavy duty vehicle or somewhere in between, your vehicle should not carry a heavy burden. Overloaded vehicles wear out tires, brakes, suspensions and steering systems quickly. Not to mention they can become dangerous to drive if high speed evasive maneuvering is needed, as well they are prone to breaking expensive driveline parts while tackling rough terrain. Overland Adventure Systems is always looking for ways to develop or products so they are Functional, durable, attractive and most importantly will add minimal amounts of weight to your vehicle. This will pay you back in the reduced wear on those expensive tires, brakes and suspension systems but most importantly at the pump! We have chosen to start our product line developing Aluminum Armor systems because we feel that protecting your vehicle while commuting to work as well as adventuring in the wilderness is of equal importance. As a bonus having a place to mount winches, lights, extra fuel and recovery gear keep you organized and ready to go on your next overland adventure. Keep your eyes open for your vehicle on our list of product development. and stay tuned to our product come to life as we document renderings, prototypes and product testing here on our page.
