Had to put new cam in today guy got lucky that big piece of metal didn't hurt anything 19hp Briggs and Stratton by the way but can happen to any of them engine not starting correctly this could be your problem but have no fear I can fix this way cheaper than paying 800 or 900 on a new engine most small engine repairs do not do this service
