A concerned mother reached out for help as she tried to support her six grandchildren and adult daughter, who was living with a disability following a traumatic injury. After falling behind on utility payments, the family was left without services.

With support from Vision Haywood and Ford's Good Neighbor Plan, a payment arrangement was negotiated with the utility company, allowing services to be restored. The family was also connected with legal resources to help navigate additional challenges and access the support available to them.

By addressing both immediate needs and longer-term barriers, this assistance helped the family regain stability while opening the door to additional support. Learn more about Vision Haywood at visionhaywood.org.

A little rain couldn’t wash out the Douglass Community Homecoming & Heritage Festival! ☔️

We had a great time spending Saturday with the Douglass community, enjoying plenty of good food and seeing so many friendly faces.

One of our own is trading environmental engineering for the dance floor! 🕺🪩

Ford Tennessee Truck Plant Senior Environmental Engineer, Blake Newbill, has officially been announced as one of this year’s Dancing with the STARS dancers benefiting [TAG] The STAR Center. Blake will take the stage with Renée Couples, with Veronica as their choreographer, when the competition takes place on October 22nd.

Congratulations to James "Bubba" Roberson of Roberson Family Farm on being named Tennessee Farm Bureau's West Tennessee Farmer of the Year regional winner.

Investing in community spaces means investing in the people who use them every day. We're grateful to support improvements at W.G.L. Rice Park and look forward to seeing the positive impact these enhancements will have for Lauderdale County families.

Great things are happening at W.G.L. Rice Park! 🎉
Ford Community Relations Manager Marianne Dunavant presented a $75,000 check to the W.G.L. Rice Park Board to support exciting improvements that will benefit families across our community.

The funding will provide:
✅ Brand-new playground equipment
✅ A new HVAC system for the Rice Park Community Center

Accepting the donation on behalf of the board were Marcus Keeley, President and Shannon Morgan, Vice President, joined by Mayor Maurice Gaines, Alderwoman Chakita Keeley, and David Jones with Mid-South Recreation.

We were able to assist Haywood County Youth Baseball with new stadium lights for their baseball and softball fields. Here's to many great nights at the ballpark! ⚾️

After being diagnosed with cancer, a woman found herself unable to work and struggling to keep up with her utility bills.

Vision Haywood worked with her utility providers to negotiate payments that would help her keep essential services and remain stable in her home.
