When your tire fails...and it's worse than a flat! A blowout can seriously damage your vehicle, or worse. In this situation it was a tread seperation at highway speed either due to a old dry rotted tire or underinflation, sudden loss of air due to impact, or driving a distance on very low inflation. Please check your tires for more than just tread depth...Age is a leading cause of tire failure. All tires have a federally required date code stamped in the sidewall of tire...If in doubt, we can show you how to decipher the date code on your tires. Be safe this holiday season.
