Over the weekend PTM attended the final points race of the Darkside series at Powerline RC.

After rain fell on the track, both Jack and Alex stated heat 1 with their Customworks Outlaw 5s, expecting the track to be on the looser side. Heat 1 was anything but loose, both drivers fought overly tight cars with Alex managing P1 and Jack P4.

For round 2 they switched to the Customworks Bullet, better suited to the higher grip expected in heat 2. Both cars picked up nearly half a second but halfway through the race light rain began falling on the track making it extremely slick. Alex stuck it out and pulled off P1 and Jack wisely decided it was better to save his car and pulled off as the rain picked up.

For the mains the track was back, Jack rolled off 6th in the B main since he pulled off in heat 2, they decided to test a few things on his car, it fired off strong but faded as the track came in. Jack just missed the transfer to the A.

Alex rolled off pole of the A main, he was uncontested and pulled off the win 2 laps up on second and breaking the old track record lap by .2 seconds, running a 3.8 over the old 4.0 lap record. He also finished the 4 race series 4th after only running 2 races, just 6 points behind first.

All cars were equipped with PTM tuned Motiv motors and batteries running Better Image Labs Gold tire prep.

PTM drivers Jack Kloeber and Alex Fanning were in attendance for round 3 of the Darkside series at Adobe RC Oval this past weekend.

Being a new track for the group it took a bit of adjustment but both Customworks Outlaw 5s were solid in practice and round 1 of Qualifying, but in round 2 the track threw a curveball, resulting in Jack P6 and Alex P2 after missing the setup.

In the mains Jack was up first starting P3 in the B main, after going through the cars he rolled off with the fastest car of the night. After getting easily up to P2 another car got into Jack and pushed him back to last, after that he was able to work his way to 4th not far away from the transfer.

Alex rolled off P2 in the A main, using the same setup as Jack he was able to catch the leader and go on to win by 3 seconds.

It was a fun night and always a challenge going to a new place.

All the cars were equipped with PTM tune Motiv motors, Motiv batteries and using Better Image Labs tire prep.

PTM driver Alex Fanning attended the Arizona dirt oval championship at M&M Mile over the weekend. Running his PTM Tuned Customworks Bullet and Rocket 5.1 Alex proved to be the class of the field with the clean sweep in Modified Latemodel and Sprintcar! After a tough seeding round Alex raced his way back to the top. Latemodel was clean sailing with a TQ and win! All cars used Better Image Labs Gold tire prep.

After a successful RC Chili Bowl the PTM team has continued the momentum into 2026!

In February Jack and Alex ran the Winter War at power line RC Raceway, it was a long night but Alex was able to come out on top with his PTM powered Customworks Outlaw 5, Jack qualified well but got caught up in the main.

Last weekend was busy for the Team, starting off with a Saturday race at M&M mile. Running their PTM powered Customworks Bullet sprints and Better Image labs Gold tire prep, they were able to finish a strong 1-2 in the main! After some setup change early in the year both cars were on point and the class of the field.

Sunday Alex was invited to host a Q&A session at AZ Turn & Burn Hobbies in Surprise Arizona, Alex shared his years of experience helping everyone who attended to better maintain, setup and race their oval cars. His goal was to help everyone better their success in the hobby we all enjoy.

WE DID IT! After nearly a year of dirt oval racing, testing and working as a team, PTM has won at the RC Chili bowl! Factory driver Alex Fanning came home with the “driller” in the largest attended class, Mod latemodel, running his PTM tuned Customworks Rocket 5.1. Alex was able to win by over a lap in the A main after coming from deep in the B. His car was equipped with a PTM tuned Motiv MC5 5.0 and Motiv 6400 2s lipo. Alex was also able to secure a strong 3rd place in outlaw sprint running his PTM tuned Customworks Outlaw 5, this car has the same PTM package as the latemodel.

Early in the week the Latemodel setup was far from where it needed to be, but with Jack on the tune and Alex on the wrenches the car got faster with every run.

Jack with his PTM Tuned Outlaw 5 was also a force on the track, after getting buried in seeding round by a rapidly evolving track Jack had to fight his way up, and by the end secured a feature win during the soup run with a car capable of winning it all in Master Sprint.

All cars were running Better Image Labs Gold tire prep, designed by a company that specializes in chemical compounds and supply, this is all PTM has ran on dirt the past year!
