WILLIAMSON WINS GELWICK MEMORIAL FEATURE EVENT

Justin Williamson collected the win for the Austin Gelwick’s Memorial make-up race, which was not completed due to rain, in the Randy Burkholder Racing Supplies Strictly Stock division, after gaining control of the lead from Latavin Spriggs on lap 6. Matt Duvall, Kurtis Hardy, Andrew Keefer, Robert Cutshall, Jason Goss Sr., Marshall Dicken, Anthony Varner Jr., Rusty Garlock & Tanner Guyer, followed Williamson to the checkered for the top 10 finishers. Williamson had the best lap, racing at 62.718 MPH, in 14.350 seconds. Dylan Allen received the Hard Charger Award.
Kameron Morral & Jim Young brought the Macri Concrete 600 Sprints to the green in their feature event, with Morral taking the lead, Young in second, while Travis Keiser, Darren Kauffman, & Dylan Anderson took control of the top five. A caution was displayed on lap 7, when Dominick Ciucci spun out in turn two & Camden Cooper also spun out in turn 4, putting both competitors to the back of the field. Morral, Young, & Keiser, held the top 3 positions on green, running non-stop, while Tanner Pressley came through the line, passing Kunkle Jr., Anderson & Kauffman, to take control of the 4th position. Darren Kauffman finished in the top five spot, as Morral crossed the line, collecting the win. Morral had the best lap, running at 80.407 MPH in 11.193 seconds. Tanner Pressley received the Hard Charger Award, sponsored by Kathy Baker Coldwell Realtor. Heat races were won by Jim Young & Darren Kauffman.
The T.A. Ward Construction 270 Micro Sprints, had polesitter Brett Kauffman, pulling to the lead on green, but had an immediate caution, due to a bad start. The racers regrouped to take the green, with Kauffman reclaiming his lead position, as Dakota Yeingst, Cory Myers, Jason Houtz, & Zach Glass, moved to the top five. Kauffman led for 6 laps, dealing with cautions that put Chandler Heasley, Cayden Forsythe, Tyler Brown & Matt Narehood, out of the race. Cory Myers pulled to the lead on the restart, before Robert Bush spun in turn 2, Dylan Mickey spun in turn 4, while Travis Hodge & Gatlin Kauffman got together on the frontstretch, all returning to the back of the pack, except Kauffman, who left the oval on lap 9.
Zach Glass & Stephanie Welk, left the track with 8 laps complete, while Myers led the racers to the green on restart. Brett Kauffman put his racer back into the lead on the wave of green, where he maintained his position ahead of the advances of Myers, till a final caution for Robert Bush, took the circuit into an extra lap, giving Myers the opportunity to pass on the backstretch, taking the lead to the finish, followed by Kauffman, Yeingst, Houtz, & John Williams for the top runners. Brett Kauffman had the best lap, running at 75.962 MPH in 11.848 seconds. Micro Sprint heat races were won by Cory Myers, Jason Houtz & Zach Glass. Travis Hodge received the Hard Charger Award.
The Metzler Auto, Truck & Trailer Wingless Super Sportsman had Kirk Baker as their first lap leader in their 30 lap feature event, till Craig Perigo passed Baker, with Brad Kling, & Eric Walker in the front of the line. Chris Henry’s racer came to a stop on the backstretch, bringing out the 1st caution, followed by the racers of Brandon Shearer & Sam Leonard, who spun out in turn 4, ahead of Brett Perigo, which put his racer into a flip as he rounded turn 3. Track officials were working to get Perigo back on 4 wheels, as Henry called it a night, putting his racer in the pits.
Craig Perigo led the reline to green, with Baker, Kling, Walker, & Dennis Perigo sitting in the top five. Craig Perigo encountered lapped traffic on lap 19, as the racers went 12 non-stop laps, before Sam Leonard got his machine in the infield, putting it into the pits. Three laps were remaining when Andrew Ketterman spun out in turn 4, returning to the rear of the lineup. Craig Perigo took the win ahead of Kirk Baker, Brett Perigo, Eric Walker & Dennis Perigo for the top five finishers. Craig Perigo had the best lap, racing at 69.130 MPH in 13.019 seconds. The WSS heats were won by Kirk Baker, Craig Perigo, & Sam Leonard. Brett Perigo received the Hard Charger Award.
The Cisney’s Auto Parts 4 Cylinder Thunder Car feature began with Jeremy Eutzy & Aaron Updegraff in pole positions with Eutzy pulling to the lead on lap 1, but slowing for a restart when Updegraff got his racer into the infield, resulting in an early ride to the pit area.
Ronnie Garlock lll, got out of shape in turn 4, putting his racer to the back, while Eutzy led the field for 2 more laps, before Tyler Vaughn’s racer caught on fire between turns 3 & 4, reigniting as they pushed him to the pit area. Eutzy, Eric Seibert, Kenny Hill, Kenny Yoder & Ronnie Buck Jr., were at the top on the restart, which Eutzy led for 11 laps before a caution light slowed the circuit, when Roger Traxler’s ride got out of control in turn two, relocating him to the rear.
Dustin Moore also had problems, spinning out of control on the backstretch, joining Traxler at the rear. Eutzy led Eric Seibert, Kenny Yoder, Ronnie Buck Jr., & Kenny Hill to the checkered flag lap for the top five finishers. Tyler Stine had the best lap, running at 62.060 MPH in 14.502 seconds, and also received the Hard Charger Award. The Thunder car heat races were won by Ronnie Buck Jr., Kenny Hill, & Kenny Yoder.
The Randy Burkholder Racing Supplies Strictly Stock feature, had Tanner Guyer, pull to the lead on green with Andrew Keefer, Jimmy Moyer, & Kurtis Hardy at the top. Moyer & Keefer were wheel to wheel, with Moyer moving to 2nd, while Matt Duvall was bringing his ride through the line to take 3rd by lap 7.
A caution was shown for Moyer & Hardy, when Moyer’s ride developed a flat tire, between the frontstretch & turn 1, putting him into the pits, as Hardy also spun from the frontstretch into the infield, retiring both racers to the pits. Duvall continued his advancement to the front, passing Guyer for the lead on lap 12, where he was overcome by lapped traffic, but maintained his lead to the finish. Anthony Varner, Garrett Watkins, Tanner Guyer, & Latavin Spriggs, were the top0 five finishers. Justin Williamson had the best lap, racing at 62.202 MPH in 14.469 seconds. Robert Cutshall received the Hard Charger Award. Heat winners were Jason Goss Sr. & Justin Williamson.
Path Valley will not be racing next week but will return 9/12/26 with the ZACHARY CROUSE/ FRIESE TRANSPORTATION LEGENDS SUMMER SLAM, T.A. Ward 270 Sprints, Cisney’s Auto Parts 4 Cylinder Thunder Cars, Metzler Auto Truck & Trailer Wingless Super Sportsman, & the Macri Concrete 600 Sprints will also be on the racing agenda.
