Ok, time to get back at it. 2020 X3M Competition will first add a trunk sub to the factory Harman Kardon sound system. Hardware will be a Kenwood Excelon x502-1 500w RMS mono amp, mounted stealthily next to the factory HK amp. The subwoofer will be a Kicker Solobaric L7T shallow mount sub in a custom enclosure made for the spare tire area under the hatch floor. Enclosure is being made by some local guys over in Erwin, NC.

Next steps will be replacing the factory amplifier, then Audiofrog components and Earthquake SWS-8Xi under seat 8” mid-bass.
