After more than two decades, the PBA returns to Spokane, WA!
While it might be on the far east side of the state of Washington, Spokane has a rich history of bowlers who comes from this area. With the help of our tournament organizer, Stephan Hahn, the PBA returns to this area and with 118 bowlers participating in our a double header 3 day event at Valley Bowl.
"We are looking to build a home for the PBA for many years to come. As your host, I'm looking to give all the talented bowlers locally, and in surrounding cities/states, a place to take their bowling endeavors to the next level. The PBA Regionals have always been a stepping stone to the PBA National Tour and there is always talent lurking, waiting for their chance to prove themselves. I want to give those talented bowlers that platform to come out and compete against some of the best players in our Region and this weekend it begins!", says Stephan Hahn.
Thank you to our two sponsors making this weekends action packed possible; Salas Real Estate & Windermere Valley with Steve Jones.
With over 110 entries this weekend, this will be the largest PBA event in this Region in over a decade. Former PBA NW Regional manager and PBA HOF'er, Gary Mage, who used to live in Spokane and own a bowling center in this area was excited to see the region return to this part of the state. When he was informed of the entry count this weekend, his response was; "I am happy to see this part of the state support the PBA and have so many bowlers experience the Spokane Valley area."
If you live in Eastern Washington or the Coeur d' Alene area, come out to Valley Bowl this weekend for PBA50 action all day Friday along with our regular division action on Saturday & Sunday.
