Wilderness Ministry — Malawi, Africa

We are looking for 20 people who would be willing to give $5 a week to help feed people in Malawi, Africa. Of course you can give more. It’s less than a coke and a candy bar.

Every Wednesday evening we send funds there. Even if no one helps, we still send something no matter how small the amount because someone is hungry and depending on it.

What is small to us can mean a meal for someone who has nothing.

If you would like to be one of the 20 people who helps make this possible, you can give through CashApp:

$hedgestohighways

Every single dime goes directly toward feeding someone in need and we pay all the transfer fees.

God bless you,
Bro. Fred Fory
Wilderness Ministry

If you cannot give, please share this post. Someone you know may be able to help feed a hungry person. We have several ways to accept donations.

It started in the most ordinary way possible: an 8-year-old girl in Seattle dropped bits of food while walking to the bus stop. At first, Gabi Mann was not trying to make friends with crows. But because the food kept appearing, the birds noticed, and then, little by little, they started coming back. Over time, Gabi began leaving food for them more regularly near her home, and the routine slowly turned into trust.

Then the story took a turn that made people everywhere stop and look. The crows began leaving tiny objects behind for her, things like beads, buttons, bits of metal, pieces of sea glass, and one small piece that reportedly had the word “best” on it. By 2015, the story had spread widely and became one of Seattle’s most memorable human-animal stories.

And here’s why it mattered so much. Researchers had already shown that crows can recognize human faces, remember people who treat them badly or kindly, and even pass that information to other crows. Scientists do not claim these objects were “gifts” in the human sense. Still, the repeated exchange clearly showed memory, trust, and a level of social intelligence that is hard to ignore.

Sometimes the most remarkable friendships do not begin with grand gestures. Sometimes they begin with a few dropped crumbs, and a wild animal deciding to remember your kindness.
