Don't Forget the Community Yard Sale Next Saturday, September 18th!

Make sure you are sale ready and have change for your customers. If you have grocery bags lying around, those are always good to have on hand for your customers. Hopefully the weather is great but keep plastic or tarps on hand for quick cover of your items if we get a spot of rain. And if it's sunny, don't forget the sunblock!

Also, as a reminder, residents are setting up at their homes this year. The traffic is going to be heavy in each community. Watch young children and pets and give yourself extra time to get in and out of the communities.

The community yard sale will be held on the 3rd Saturday of September. We are asking residents to set up at their own homes this year as opposed to years past where everyone set up by the basketball courts in Hickory Acres.

The event is rain or shine.

Side Note: We understand that there will be more traffic in the communities those days. Please plan accordingly, especially in Hickory Acres where it may be more difficult to see to get in or out. Residents are welcome to use parking by the office those days if it is easier. Also, please ensure that children and pets are being watched closely with the increased traffic.

Voting for the Christmas Light / Decorating Contest will most likely be Sunday night since Saturday calls for rain.

While judges usually just do it from their car, we want to give you (and any inflatables) the best chance for showcasing all your hard work in the best conditions possible!

Remember...
First Place = $300 Gift Card
Second Place = $200 Gift Card
Third Place = $100 Gift Card

Those who took first place last year cannot take first place this year to give others the opportunity to compete.

Judging is not done by any staff member or owner and for at least the last 2 years, it's been different judges each time. We leave it entirely up to their discretion. They judge and give us who they liked best. If you don't win this year, we really hope you'll try again next year.

We will announce winners by Monday afternoon and the winners can collect their gift card the same day. Please make sure you pick it up before the 23rd so you have it for any Christmas spending you plan to do.

Santa's Magic Mailbox Was Delivered and Set Up.

You can use the template to have (or help) your kiddos deliver a letter to Santa and Santa will write back! You can print it out or handwrite a letter but please make sure to help us help Santa get it to the right place by including a name, lot number, and community!

Santa is strictly quarantining to ensure he is healthy for Christmas deliveries so we are offering our hand to help him get a message to all the good boys and girls before his travels!

He also gave us a generous treat budget to make some goodie bags for the kiddos (even the littlest of ones) to deliver when he sends his response. We want to make sure all the girls and boys get one this Christmas season!
