I'm gonna take a moment to be proud of myself. Just when you think you can't, YOU CAN! I rode 260 miles today to board a ferry to an island on Lake Erie. I have NEVER done this. Everything went wrong...ran into road closures that my gps couldn't figure out how to avoid (ironically neither could I, something I'm definitely going to working on) Didn't know how to use a ratchet strap because I've never tied my bike down. Ironically, again, was told it wasn't needed lol (it's funny because I almost canceled the trip over something so trivial)
Now what went right?
EVERYTHING
I laughed, I panicked, I made a new friend!! I saw an eagle soaring above me and my windshield got bird poo on it (I tilted my head and said that was pretty frickin rude) 🤣 I popped my tent like a pro and inflated my pad, we got a bite to eat, enjoyed the sunset and I utilized the shower house. It was nice, water pressure could have been better but it was hot so no complaints
Tomorrow Pat and I are gonna explore the island 😍
