Skis won’t run on water don’t know how so much water got in the tank but pumped it out and it’s good to go

This vx110 came in for a smoking And over heating issue oil was extremely over filled and found tons of corrosion build up in the block and head which had rotted away the block internally making the mating surface for the block and head very thin also found the cam timing was off
Had the head decked and cleaned all the corrosion out and got it back up and running

Vx110 came in for a complete different issue and upon inspection I found a chunk of the block had fallen out new engine installed and it’s ready to go

This is why you don’t use rtv gasket maker for the oil pan on a $7,000 Jetski engine someone previously rebuilt this engine and slapped gasket maker all over the place and it caused the gasket maker to break up and get clogged in the oil pick up tube causing a rod bearing to blow out

2015 Vx came in with 78hrs for a over heating problem engine coolant passages were completely full of corrosion cleaned out all the corrosion built up in the block and head along with new seat covers, head resurfaced, new battery, and a full service done

If you want one of the most reliable skis on the market that you barely have to maintain get you a Yamaha vx110 this is a ex rental ski that has 951hrs and runs absolutely perfect as you can see it hasn’t been takin care of that well and still runs like a dream

Vx110 came in mixing water in the oil found the head gasket was blown causing water in the combustion chamber and rust all on the valves unfortunately this ski was not maintained properly lost of corrosion build up in the water jackets from not being flushed new head gasket and all installed a lot with alot of cleaning and multiple oil flushes and it’ll be good to go
