So we have a little problem at the shop …

Our business has exploded and we are looking for an experienced, skilled mechanic to join our team.

Yes, experience matters and you need to know your way around a vehicle. But we’re looking for more than someone who can turn a wrench.

We’re looking for someone with great character, a strong work ethic, and pride in what they do.

Taylor’s Auto is a family-owned shop, and we’ve worked hard to create the kind of workplace where our clients and employees are respected, appreciated, supported, and treated like family.

Sometimes replacing the failed part is only the beginning …

This Subaru Forrester came into the shop because the AC was going out and we cannot have that in this Savannah heat! So we replaced the AC compressor and sent our client on her way. Two days later it had failed, so we had our client drop her car off again to get to the bottom of the issue.

When an AC compressor fails, you have to look at the entire system to determine what caused the failure or when you replace the compressor again, it would fail because you haven’t fixed the issue.

We found a clog in the system as well as extra oil in the system. We flushed the system and replaced the condenser, and the vehicle was blowing at 37 degrees🙌

When something fails, most mechanics just continue to throw parts at an issue until it goes away. At Taylor’s Auto, we run testing and get to the root cause of the issue.

At Taylor’s Auto, it’s not just about building a business. It’s about building something much bigger for our family.

Our son is only 10 years old and changed out his first water pump at the shop (with assistance, of course).

We’re teaching him about things he probably won’t learn in school like hands on hard work, real life problem-solving, and mechanical knowledge that he can use for the rest of his life.

🚨 “It’s just a check engine light…”

This Honda Fit came to us after another repair shop had exhausted their options. They referred the client to Taylor’s Auto because of the reputation we’re building for solving the tough diagnostic problems.

Three days later… we found it.

The crazy part? It wasn’t a major failure. It was a tiny issue hidden in plain sight, but it was enough to trigger the check engine light.

That’s why we always tell our client:

👉 A code scanner does NOT diagnose your car.

When an auto parts store scans your vehicle, it simply tells you which system is reporting a problem. It doesn’t tell you what’s actually causing it. One fault code can have several different root causes, and replacing parts based on a code alone can cost you time and money without fixing the actual problem.

That’s where proper diagnostics matter.

At Taylor’s Auto, we don’t believe in throwing parts at a vehicle and hoping for the best. We test. We verify. We find the root cause, so your car gets fixed right the first time.
