Complaint: Customer states the Check Engine Light is illuminated. Vehicle has a rough idle, engine misfires, reduced engine performance, and low idle speed.

Cause: Performed a complete diagnostic scan and retrieved DTCs P013300, P001600, P053F00, P008700, P050600, P030000, and P030200. Diagnostic findings indicate a probable mechanical engine timing concern and fuel delivery issue.

Correction: Remove & Replace Engine

Complaint: The customer state the check engine light is on.

Cause: Connected a scan tool and found the following code(s) 1) P0341 The position sensor for the intake camshaft has a malfunction. 2) P0342 The position sensor of the intake camshaft has a short circuit to ground.

Correction: Removed & Replaced the following sensors, cleared the codes and performed a road test to verify that the vehicle operated properly. Check engine light did NOT illuminate and diagnostic troubleshooting code did NOT activate.

Cause: Severe transmission fluid leak and failing input speed sensor assembly.
