This video sucks.
If you could buy time, I would need a rehab.
YouTube and instagram will continue but the business won’t.
A lot of people think you make zillions being a business owner. Just like kids who go to college think they will make 6 figures. I found my business to be a lot like “my octopus teacher” if you’ve seen that film. I found it to be a reflection of self and state. I’ve always been a little bit of a wild card. The shove your homework into your back pack kind of person. I found being a business owner for me put me in a headlock from start to finish. It’s been an uphill pedal without wheels and I’m not quite getting it.
When I moved, I obviously knew I couldn’t mix bikes right away. I didn’t have a shop to even do that (the whole point of building this). But I knew just like phoenix id find friends and have work. I found that part extremely easy. I needed to do something in the mean time to make ends meet which is how I found plumbing and heating. I hate to say it, I love playing with poo more than the stress of fixing bikes for money. I love fixing motorcycles, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t like fixing motorcycles in order to keep my heat on or my baby fed. It’s that simple.
It excites me to show up to events with a motorcycle and not tent with merch. It excites me ride more instead of fix more. My weekends look different, my relationship looks different, my health will look different. Different right now, looks good. The show will go on, I’ve said since the first video I made. I don’t know what this is, or where this is going , but it’s happening.
Life rips.
