"Tears, It's More Than a Release of Emotions"
Not many people would understand why a person would elect to have surgery in order to fix a problem that prohibits them from going fast on a motorcycle. To understand such a thing, one would have to first understand crying. For example... the tears from crying of Nikki Hayden that were seen by millions of spectators around the world in 2006 at the end of the MotoGP race held at Laguna Seca. What were these tears? Why was he crying? Was he mentally unstable? The answer would be, no.
*** To be clear, I am not saying that Nikki Hayden underwent any surgical procedure increasing his chances of winning.***
Take Fasciotomy just for example. It can be an elective surgical procedure a Professional Rider chooses to have. For many people though, even merely thinking about doing such a thing as having elective or corrective [performance enhancement] surgery, is a physical line they are not willing to cross... period. While for others who engage in riding as a Professional Athlete, this is just simply another decision that they will have to make in their lives that involves the future of their racing career.
There have been times when I have found myself literally wiping tears from my cheeks as I was lost in my thoughts about the sensations and exhilaration I had experienced from speed and track time; all of those times, past, present and future.
I deeply desire to be so much better at what I do on my bikes. I have so much more to learn, so much more to do.
Lol, it's kind of funny that it annoys me a little bit that I only have one lifetime to get these and other things done in.
One lifetime is not a lot of time.
Yes, I believe I understand what supplied Nikki Hayden's tears. I also believe I understand the extreme and continuous "limit pushing" riding styles of Marc Marquez, Jorge Martin, and Marco Simoncelli. I deeply admire the scapel-like riding precision of Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa and others. I believe without a doubt that they too have cried more times than many people, even their closest friends, would ever know about. I also believe that they would understand my tears just as I understand theirs.
