Small engines are everywhere, and sometimes we do mobile work, like servicing this engine used for a water pump at Blueberry Creek Stables. Keeping the horses and all the farm animals hydrated is important, so we are performing preventative maintenance because this pump can’t be down long. Luckily Nathan had “Chiquita” the dog to help supervise.

Nathan responded to an emergency call for a generator shutting down for this food truck. It was a simple fix and Nathan only asked for a snow cone as payment.

Of course Nathan chose orange as it’s his favorite color!

🙌Well, today I have to give a shout out to Nathan’s Small Engine Repair! Guys, Nathan is 14 years old and running his own business! 😮

He was responsive. He gave me the play by play on repairing my generator. He picked it up and brought it back during our event today, and he was very reasonably priced! Kudos to this confident, intelligent young man! If you need any small engine repairs, this is the only guy you need to call! And I asked Nathan to put me on a maintenance plan to prevent this from happening again, so I’ve become a regular customer. 🙂 I’m so excited about where he is going in life! Just before church today, Nathan got a message from Tacos Papi Grande Authentic Mexican Catering that their generator wasn’t working. Even though it was a Sunday, he agreed to take a look to fix it. Needless to say, he was successful and was able to make a great contact in the local New Braunfels small business community as well as get a chance to get some amazing tacos!

Customer states: Front drive not working, previous mechanic replaces/adjusts cable and says there is no permanent fix.

Nathan takes a look and finds the drive pulley packed with grass to the point pulley couldn’t spin. 2 minutes of cleaning and drive works perfectly fine. No parts or repair needed. (Video in comments of it working!)

Cost to fix: None, zero, zilch, nada

Nathan doesn’t charge for things like this. He wants to earn your business by doing the right things right.

Nathan getting ‘er done yesterday on a beautiful Saturday. This mower received a tune up with oil change, spark plug, carb clean, and a fresh air filter.
