Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 day 4 recap. We got in the lanes early and made the second pass down the track. Ran 8.57. Came back around for a 2nd pass and had fuel pressure issues. We decided to turn in the 8.57 and get on the road. We moved up to 5th in class. Long, hot drive back to Joliet on Route 66.

Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 day 3 at Cordova. We only got 2 passes, then the day was shortened by rain. We managed an 8.55. Which is an improvement but still off pace. The day was capped off with a 250 mile drive down to Gateway.

Hot Rod Drag Week 2026 day 1 was a little rough for us. We only had the chance to make 2 passes. The first was pretty slow at 8.71. On the second pass, the throttle body broke and the car slowed to 9.1. On the way to Byron for day 2!

The Wonder Wagon team had a great weekend at Heads Up Hustle 2026! Starting at Dragway 42 on Friday we ran 8.523. Good enough for 2nd. On Saturday we were back at our home track, Milan Dragway, where we ran 8.511. Good enough to put us at the top of the qualifying ladder! Back at 42 on Sunday we made it to the final and lost by .005! A huge thanks to John-Paul, Thomas and all of the staff who put this event together! It is a great event that every Drag and Drive racer should sign up and compete heads up!

We got registered for the 8.50 class at Heads Up Hustle next month. Hope to see some good competition!
