Someone was foolish enough to pack the two halves with silicone..
Being a cored vessel, coring around the opening had to be removed and replaced with epoxy filler, to ensure any potential leaked in the future would be unable to saturate the coring leading to rot..

Rudder indicator kit comes with a gauge and sending unit..
If the linkage is off a hair, the sending unit is permanently damaged,.. online search provided a safe solution,.. 6" pull spring provides mis alignment flexibility and a $5 part compared to $30 ball joints and rod,..
Now if any work needs to be done in the future, no risk of damage exists..

Access to the water tanks and seacocks,.. flooring plywood with access supports,..New teak 1/4" flooring with plunge cut...

Bow thruster was slightly misaligned when installed.. causing blades to either shatter or stress crack limiting the life...

Bow thruster was slightly misaligned when installed.. causing blades to either shatter or stress crack limiting the life span..
Tube with blades installed were impossible to clean with ordinary antifouling in place..
Ppg abc-72 antifouling (highest allowed copper content) applied to the tube, shaved the blades 1/8" around the diameter to control cracking..

Cracked hull from wrong position of blocking, drilled weep holes and ventilation just to discover a cracked water tank above it, 1×2' inspection and repair hole discovered a plugged bilge return thru the lead (trapping water forward of the pump), interior and exterior glassing done with full repair wrap, 5 layers 1708..

Cracked tank, polluted n quite nasty, scrubbed n bleached, sanded and coated, and finally sealed..
