Matte wraps make most detailers nervous and they should.

This satin black Denali can't be waxed, polished, or run through an automatic wash. Any of those leave a permanent shiny spot in the vinyl, and the only real fix is re-wrapping the panel.

So the process is completely different from paint. pH-neutral foam, matte-safe soap only, careful pressure around every seam and edge, and no gloss products anywhere near it.

The result doesn't shine. It's not supposed to. A properly cleaned matte wrap looks flat, even and deep, exactly like the day it was installed.
