Description/Job SummaryProvides clerical support to body shop operations.*Responsibilities/Duties** Greets customers as they arrive in a pleasant and professional manner; ascertain nature of visit and notify appropriate party of visitor. Answers incoming phone calls in a prompt, polite, and professional manner; ascertains nature of call and directs to the appropriate party and/or obtains enough information to allow for follow-up that is convenient for the customer. Opens repair orders for all vehicles coming into the body shop for repairs. Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers, updates accounts receivable records and give payments to Body Shop Manager. Provides clerical support to include filing and data entry.Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area*Required Skills**LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information to customers and other employees.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.REASONING ABILITY*Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
