Were Old Cars Really Better Than Today's Cars? 🚗

Looking at this sea of classic Volkswagen Beetles, it got me thinking about how much cars have changed over the years. There was a time when cars were simpler, easier to understand, and built with personality and character. You could often work on them yourself without needing a computer to diagnose every little problem.

Today's cars offer incredible technology, improved safety features, better fuel efficiency, and greater comfort. But with all those advancements, have we lost something along the way?

Old cars had distinctive designs, mechanical simplicity, and a charm that made each one feel special. Modern vehicles can sometimes feel more alike, packed with screens and electronics rather than the character of their predecessors.

So, what do you think? Were old cars truly better, or do today's cars offer everything we need and more? 🚘

Customer owns a classic Volkswagen with the "wide five" Lug bolt pattern.
Took it to get tires replaced and is told they cannot balance the wide 5 style wheels.

Some Tire Shops will have the specialty adapter.
Jackson Tire in Jackson, CA is one of the rare shops that have one.

Or....
You can but one from Ron Lummus Racing and own your own unique high quality Specialty Tool.

Or, buy a simple VW wheel adapter from your favorite VW Supply House just like the one in the picture.
