This is long overdue. The powered ‘69 Nova was back on the hub dyno at Matt’s Fab Shop! After addressing three major issues from the last dyno session, we’re now on the right track. This is at very low boost(for a 183” 6 cylinder).

I’d like to thank Randy Schoener at RS Tech for his diligence on the tune! I appreciate you, man!

Jim Galatioto at ATO transmission for my transmission. I’ve beat the hell out this thing for seven years now! Works flawlessly. Jim serviced my transmission and added the &mtransmission dump valves. Thank you!

We’ll be back out when time allows, and the heat calms down.

Big Head Motorsports is in search of an experienced metal fabricator. I’m looking for someone I don’t have to teach. The one thing I will be willing to teach is gas welding aluminum because it’s a difficult process to learn and takes some practice. Other than that, you must be able to do the following.

-Must be an expert at building headers & exhaust

-TIG welding: aluminum, stainless, chromoly

-sheet metal fabrication

-be able to plumb hardline: fuel systems and brake systems

-metal shaping experience a plus

-chassis building experience

-work minimum 50+hours/week & Saturdays if required to.

-must be on time!

-complete a weld test (butt weld)using .035” filler rod on a SS header tube

I’ve been in business 18 years and I’m currently backlogged 3-4 years. I have a great customer base. If your skill set is better than mine, great, I can use you. I’ve attached pictures to show the level of quality I expect. Again, if your knowledge and ability exceeds mine, the better for me.

This came from a local shop. They attempted to do the Chassisworks backhalf, but fell short of the task. I completely removed everything they did and started from square one.
