"Honoring Rachele Olson"
This past winter, East Central Auto Sales & Service partnered with WCMP Radio for our "Car Fixin' Miracle" initiative. We were deeply saddened to learn from her family that Rachele Olson, the recipient of our efforts, recently lost her battle with cancer. We are honored to have been able to provide some comfort and assistance to Rachele and her family when they needed it most. Our thoughts are with them during this time. - The family has asked us to share this letter for the world to see, copied below: 👇

On behalf of Rachele Olson and all who loved her, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the incredible generosity and support you showed through your “car fixin’ miracle.”
Rachele’s car being repaired couldn’t have come at a better time—or for a better person. In the last chapter of her life, as she courageously battled cancer, the simple gift of a reliable vehicle lifted a tremendous weight from her shoulders. It allowed her to get to her many appointments without added stress, and it gave her a sense of independence and peace during an incredibly difficult time.
Sadly, Rachele has since lost her battle with cancer. But please know that the kindness you extended made a real and lasting difference in her final months. She felt truly blessed to have been chosen, and so do we. Your generosity was a light in a hard season, and we are forever grateful.
