Due to the crack on our road opening up and not freezing. We are NOT lifting restrictions for half tons. It is atv, utv, and snowmobiles only. We are working on a detour for safe travel. Thank you

We have a staked trail to 12 mile reef. We are going to hold off on the plowing until it cools back off. Please drive slow as the warm weather isn’t doing the land portion of the road and favors. Once the cool weather moves in next week we will level everything off and hopefully open up to half tons pulling single axle houses and smaller early to mid next week. Thank you!

Access is open to sxs, atv, and snowmobiles pulling any type of fish house. $20 fee per day per vehicle. Dropbox is at the entrance of the access off the highway. The woods portion of the road is still a little rough until we get more snow to fill in some of the dips. There is parking on the lakeshore. Please be respectful to our road our property and the lake. Be safe and happy fishing! 🎣

We will be working on the road throughout the weekend. We will have a plowed and staked trail to cookers reef for now. The questionable crack we had last week healed up good. We are seeing 12-15 inches of ice. If all goes well we will be opening early next week for sxs atv and snowmobiles pulling any type of house.

We will NOT be opening the access tomorrow. A 2ft wide crack opened up about a half mile off shore. Hopefully with the warmer temps coming up it will come back together and not make too much of a mess. We will watch closely the next couple days. Sorry for any inconvenience

Ice held together well through the snow and cold weather. We have 10+ inches on the road. We’ve been working on the land portion of the road the last couple afternoons. The snow helped level things off in the swamp for smooth travel. We have a road staked 1.5 miles off shore out to 20ft of water. We are going to let the ice build before we stake any further. We are opening the access to atv, snowmobile, side by side and pop up/sled type portables on Saturday the 14th. Use caution off the road and be safe.

We have been out the last couple days working on the ice road. We have it staked out to 20 ft of water about 1.5 miles off shore. There is a consistent 8-9 inches of ice on the road. Forecasted colder temps this week will move things along nicely. We are planning on opening the access on Saturday the 14th to ATV, side by side and snowmobiles pulling sled style or pop up portable houses. No skid houses or trailers at this time. We are located 7 miles north of Roosevelt on highway 17. There will be parking on the north end of the field for your vehicle and trailer. $20 fee per vehicle per day. Thanks and stay safe!

Hello! The name “Red Roof Landing” comes from a small cabin on our property with a red tin roof. It was built in the 1960’s and is an iconic landmark used by fisherman on the south shore of Muskeg Bay on Lake of the Woods.
