This 2014 Ram 1500 needed its ABS control module replaced due to issues with the anti-lock braking system. Unfortunately a common Ram issue.
⚠️ WHAT CAUSES ABS MODULE FAILURE?
ABS modules can fail for several reasons, including:
* Internal electrical or circuit board failures
* Heat, vibration, and age
* Moisture intrusion or corrosion
* Electrical or communication problems
When an ABS module fails, it can trigger ABS, traction control, and stability control warning lights. It may also disable important safety features.
🛠️ WHAT WE DID:
✅ Replaced the faulty ABS electronic control module without replacing the entire hydraulic pump assembly.
✅ Installed a replacement module that was supplied preprogrammed.
✅ Diagnosed an incorrect VIN/configuration fault after installation.
✅ Used specialized diagnostic software to perform ABS module initialization.
✅ Performed the necessary sensor calibration and electronic stability control initialization procedures.
✅ Cleared trouble codes and verified the ABS module was communicating properly with no faults reported.
💻 MORE THAN JUST PARTS REPLACEMENT!
Modern vehicles often require electronic initialization, calibration, and programming after components are replaced. Simply installing a new part doesn’t always complete the repair!
🚗 ABS DIAGNOSTICS & MODULE SERVICES
We offer ABS diagnostics, module replacement, and supported electronic initialization procedures on select RAM, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles, depending on the year, model, and system.
