They opened up their humble two-bay garage, took up residence in the apartment above the shop, and got to work serving the community's tire and automotive needs. With a foundation built upon exceptional customer service, the original location has now expanded to an 11-bay building with room to accommodate 16 cars and two semis at the same time! With the tremendous help of our partners, Brock Rude and Greg Woessner, Moore Tires has now grown to include four convenient new locations in Mendota, Kewanee, Monmouth, and Macomb, all opening with the mission of connecting more people to a rewarding tire and automotive experience.

🚗 A little piece of 1972 rolling into Moore Tires!

Check out this 1972 Chevy Camaro with just 48,000 original miles. 👀

This classic still features:
🔥 Original 307 motor
⚙️ Column-shift 3-speed automatic
🛞 Disc brakes with no power assist
💺 Bucket seats with no center console
✨ Original chrome

Here’s what makes it even more interesting: GM faced a major strike around this era, making cars like this a unique snapshot of automotive history and the parts and configurations coming out of the factory.

More than 50 years later, this Camaro is still turning heads—and we love getting to see classics like this come through the shop.

A couple weekends ago, we had a blast helping sponsor the Pumpkin Derby at Scarecrow Fest! 🎃🏁

This week, we’re taking Tire Tuesday behind the scenes to introduce you to Lexy, our Project Coordinator & Administrative Assistant!

Lexy has been part of the Moore Tires team for 2 years, helping keep projects organized, supporting our team, and making sure everything continues moving in the right direction. While you might not always see her out in the shop, she plays an important role in everything happening behind the scenes!

One of Lexy’s favorite things about Moore Tires is the work environment and the people she gets to work with every day. And, of course, there’s another pretty great office perk — the dogs! 🐶🐾 Daily walks with the office pups make the workday a little more fun.

We’re thankful for everything Lexy brings to the team and all the work she does to help keep Moore Tires running smoothly.

There’s nothing better than getting out into the communities we serve, seeing familiar faces, and being part of traditions that bring everyone together.

At Moore Tires, we spend a lot of time talking about taking care of your vehicle: checking your tires, keeping up with maintenance, and paying attention when something doesn’t feel right.

Today, we’re reminding you that taking care of yourself matters even more.

Life gets busy. Work gets stressful. Responsibilities pile up. Sometimes we’re so focused on taking care of everything and everyone around us that we forget to check in with ourselves.

On World Mental Health Day, take a moment to slow down, check in with yourself, and reach out to someone who might need it too.
