’s ’77 F250 isn’t just sitting pretty — it’s sitting on a 2000 F350 chassis with a 7.3 under the hood.
After four years of ownership and two years of wrenching, this season is the first time he’s actually driving it. From Ohio to Michigan’s Woodward Dream Cruise and down to the F100 Supernationals in Tennessee, it’s proving itself mile after mile.

Not bad for its first season back on the road.

New cab corners, box repairs, rebuilt turbo, bellowed up-pipes, Southbend clutch, 4” exhaust, and an edge 100 HP tune. rebuilt his grandpa’s old workhorse bolt by bolt until it was stronger than ever.

Grille envy is real. And grille guilt? Even worse.

Like… I know which grille is my favorite, but what do you do when your truck didn’t come with that one? Swap it out and spend the rest of your days explaining, ‘Well, it’s a ’72… but with a ’69 grille’.

And it gets confusing fast. Somebody asks, ‘That a ’69?’ Now you’re stuck deciding whether to lie… or go into a long story about, "No, uhhhhhh, actually, it’s a ’67 with a ’69 grille" and watch them give you that look.

Anyone else ever feel this? What’s YOUR favorite grille?
