This page features my AC Schnitzer S3 Sport CLS replica build. A US-built clone of the original S3 Sport CLS's built by AC Schnitzer from 1993 to 1995. AC Schnitzer is a premier German tuning firm out of Aachen, Germany that specializes in Tuning and Modifications for BMW's. The AC Schnitzer S3 Sport CLS was a specialty car that AC Schnitzer built to order based off of the E36 M3, and was the pinn
acle of their tuning capabilities at the time. I believe only 14 S3 Sport CLS's were ever built. As far as I know, none of the original 14 CLS's built by AC Schnitzer ever made it across the pond to the US, so I decided to build the closest thing I could to the real thing...with some "upgrades" and changes along the way to my own taste. The main body panels of the car (CLS widebody kit, Sideview mirrors, Rear Spoiler, Roof Spoiler, etc.) are all AUTHENTIC AC Schnitzer. Through this build every effort will be made to use original and authentic parts where possible. When not possible to use the originals (like for the interior for example), custom pieces will be fabricated to match the originals as closely as possible. Mod list to date:

This page will also serve to celebrate the AC Schnitzer cars of that era. For me the 90's really represents the "Golden Era" for AC Schnitzer. The early AC Schnitzer cars are some of the best BMW cars of that time and they truly were an upgrade for anything from the famed Bavarian car manufacturer.
