Campbell's Hot Rods LLC

Campbell's Hot Rods LLC Excellence in classic restoration and performance!

Since 2000, Josh and Scott Campbell has been restoring and hot rodding classic and collector cars as a hobby, or passion. We've used the name Campbell's Hot Rods over the years for fun, then in late 2011 talking amongst friends, and at the suggestion of many people who have seen our work, we have decided to make this a reality. This will begin as a side, hobby oriented venture, but if the need to

expand occurs, we are more than capable of handling the needs of our customers. We offer collective talents in paint/bodywork, electrical, mechanical including engine and suspension, and full ground up restorations, or hot rod design and creation. Although eventually we will focus on full restorations, and classics only, we will also be able to handle any custom, or appearance modifications to a wide spectrum of automobiles, as well as access to painting facilities.

Finally have the new quarter in for the Chevelle. Some issues with fitment on the last one, so this will correct it. Can't wait to dig into it Monday.

Talk about great service! I invoiced with not even 24 hours ago, and the 2 ReMasters I ordered were on my doorstep. Both of these are going on 71 Chevelles interestingly enough.

Nice mornings are still around for a little, great morning for and Car Meat. Some nice cars as always, some new ones, good turnout. Probably my last outing with the 81 Z28 before teardown.

wheels bolted onto on a look killer. Those 325/30R19 steamrollers just get swallowed right up.

Sorry to Guniwheels, but they do nothing to set the build of a car off. The theme and direction of this build is now set! So much will go into this build, I'm excited to get into them in the upcoming months!

Brought my new toy out to The Bistro Cars and Coffee this morning, my new to me kind of minty originalish 81 Z28.

Car drives amazingly well, comfortable yet feels tight. Though I think after these years of sitting it might have been due to head gaskets. Or valve guides. Doesn't matter, new 64cc aluminum heads will fix that and add 100+ hp with a mild cam. Engine runs very well despite the occasional mosquito fogging.

After that, I'll give the car a basic repaint and it will be perfect throughout. Car is clean underneath and all original, so this will be a different build for me to keep most originality intact (engine will appear stock). I'll keep the N90 wheels, but improve the stance slightly, I can't do the nose high look.

I wonder if this is why this car is overheating so quickly?

Shop update! Mustang almost done, Chevelle and C10 windows, getting 2nd and 3rd gen Camaros back on the road, my 65 VW Beetle, a 61 Dodge M37, and I'm over the hill! 🫤😅

Just did a nice little transformation on this 65 VW Beetle. Lowered the front with Empi drop spindles, installed new TMI seat covers, installed new blade bumpers and eliminated the overriders, new US style taillights, fixed a number of electrical items including rebuilding the original turn signal switch since the repops are junk apparently, new steering wheel, plus a lot of other little items. Wanted to install the new headliner I bought, but I just don't have the time.

Honestly, a fun little car. The easiest starting car I've had, tap the key and it lights... whether it sits for 1 day, or 3 weeks.

I had intended to do a full restoration on it, but I've got myself spread too thin among other projects, and customer cars.

And there may be another car I want to buy... 🤣

Anyone I know want a nice car to take to the next level?

Color sanding and buffing on the 5.0 in the foreground, while my dad is wrapping up the engine swap in his 56 Chevy. Will it make it to the block party on Saturday night???

Despite being tempted by a Duramax this last week, the 1/2 ton Ram still put in the work well today. 3 tons, not really a problem. Not that I'd tow it out of state though....

Anyway, picked up a side burner project for a new customer that I'll work on in the upcoming months. Time for something different!

This 61 Dodge M37 will be getting new power through a Chevy 350 (on the hunt if anyone has one). Will convert to an automatic to make it easier to drive. New Desert Tan paint outside will clean it up well. Also going to push my skills and dust off my sewing abilities and redo the front seats, and build rear troop carrier cushions! This will be a fun build!

Just did a job for a friend on his awesome 66 Chevy truck. He needed some cowl mount hinges to avoid the troublesome factory hinges, so he bought some PB Fab hinges a few months back and reached out to me for installation. Overall pretty straightforward, just measure 6 times, cut once. Always tricky cutting on a painted vehicle. The end product turned out great.
