Business up date: We’ve been a little silent the last couple of years and feel our customers, friends, and followers deserve an explanation.

Damon started paramedic school in mid 2022 which created a little bit of a scheduling conflict with working full time, school, and trying to run the business. We decided to cut back on our business and focus on school.

Father’s Day 2023, Damon ended up having an accident while helping coach our son’s hockey practice. He ended up shattering his right humerus and needed emergency surgery. A couple weeks after the surgery, we found out he had a MASSIVE bone infection and needed another 2 surgeries to get it all cleaned out. He had a PIC line in for 6 weeks to receive daily antibiotics to help kill the infection. Once the infection was taken care of, he had to have a fourth surgery that involved a bone graft and further recovery.

Thankfully Damon works with an amazing group of people who helped us make it through the 7 month hardship.

Damon was finally healed enough to return to work. After a hard year of getting back on track, we are finally in a place to restart our business and focus on what we started. “Provide EXCEPTIONAL EXPERIENCES to customers who want to enjoy the RV life.”

We want to thank EVERYONE who has supported us through this time. We look forward to picking up where we left off.

One of the best parts about camping are the snacks…! Am I right? Lounging in a camping chair or hammock enjoying a cool breeze, a tasty beverage and SNACKS 😋

We are very partial to a batch of homemade Buffalo Ranch Chex mix… we make it most often at Christmas time, add some savory to all those Christmas cookie treats.

Here is our modified version of the Chex recipe.

Buffalo Ranch Chex Mix

4 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
4 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal
2 cups Parmesan-flavored crackers
2 cups pretzel twists
2 cups rye chips
2 cup cashews
6 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons Tapitio
1 packet ranch dressing mix

Mix all ingredients except rye chips in large bowl microwave safe bowl. Melt butter in separate bowl and mix in hot sauce and ranch powder. Pour a couple tablespoons at a time over the Chex mix stirring between each tablespoon to mix evenly.
Microwave for 2 mins remove and stir, microwave for an additional 2 mins. Spread over paper towels and mix in rye chips. Let cool and then serve!

Comment with your favorite place to visit!

Don’t know if we can say it enough, our last minute change in plans last year won our 💕 over! We had an amazing time exploring Bryce Canyon and staying at Ruby’s Inn.

Don’t hesitate, it’s only 7 hours from Queen Creek AZ and it’s also only in the 70’s there, 40’s at night right now.

We highly discourage flushing of random socks, past due bills, pet fish, or hopes and dreams down the toilets 😂

But in all seriousness, one of the best luxuries while camping is having a functional toilet, am I right?!?

Please… we beg you to remember, no wipes or feminine products to be flushed down the toilet. They do not dissolve and tend to get stuck on the bottom of the black tank. We’ve added these reminder signs on the toilet lid to make sure all members of camp know and follow these rules!
